Working with the themes of mobility, temporality and the unexpected, SUE Foreshore Festival – A Series of Unexpected Events will invite the public into open and inclusive spaces of encounter and play across a diversity of  sites in Port Noarlunga.

Over 3 Sundays in Oct – 6, 13 & 20 from 12 – 4pm, a series of new and existing installation,  performance, sculptural, visual and virtual art works will be created by a gathering of innovative local, state, national and international artists. Including – Carlie Angel (SA),  Martyn Coutts (VIC), Steven Cybulka (SA), Gail Hocking (SA), Heidi Karo and Isadore Glockner-Karo (SA), Francois Knoetze (ZAF), Susannah Langley and Wayne Armstrong (VIC), Rebecca McEwan and Laura Wills (SA), Kaspar Schmidt Mumm (SA), Cynthia Schwertsiek (SA), Tanya Voges (SA), Marius Jansen van Vuuren (ZAF) & Ella Ziegler (GER).

Curated by OSCA Artistic Director Paul Gazzola, SUE’s diverse program will offer the public an incredibly unique opportunity to experience and encounter adventurous art works that will spark curiosity, intrigue and joy.

Connected to SUE is a series of 2 x 2 day workshops called TRANSFORMING EVERYDAY SITES that is focused on temporary site-based art and place-making projects in public spaces. The workshops are open to artists, creatives, performers, art workers and other interested individuals of all ages and levels of practice. For more information CLICK HERE.
